Zeynep posted a link to a Halloween trick calls Magic Gopher last 2 days and it works amazingly. You should try it!

I told myself "AMAZING" when I first played it and then I tried to find out how it works. I played again and again and now I got its rule.

Step 1: Think of a number with two digits. I generally call the number you are thinking of is AB. So you will have: AB = 10A + B

Step 2: Add the two numbers together. You will have A + B

Step 3: Subtract the new number from your original number. You will have (10A + B) - (A + B) = 9A

Step 4: Now you remember the number 9A and look at the symbol next to your number.

Now, you will see a piece of paper has numbers and symbols on it. Look carefully on it, you could see the symbols that go together with the numbers: 0, 9, 18, 27, 36, 45, 54, 63, 72, 81 are the same. Why? because your number is 9A, always divided by 9, no matter what number (AB) that you picked at the beginning of the game. So, that means your final number have to be one in the list of numbers that divided by 9. That's why they all have the same symbol and that would be the symbol you will receive at the end.

And lots of other symbols go together with other numbers. The Gopher just picks randomly. What ever they are, the Gopher doesn't care because those symbols would have never been used.

A CHICKEN NAMED FAY

There once was a chicken named FAY

To whom everyone said: "GO AWAY!"

She wasn't pretty, she wasn't smart

(But she managed to get an "A" in art!)

As years went by she found a friend

... A rabbit whose ears had a weird little bend

They joined together to form a pair...

The odd looking chicken and misshapen hare

She could create and he could deliver

So they opened a shop down by the river.

She painted her eggs -- made a lovely display!

But, alas, no customers came their way.

An angel in heaven looked down from the sky and said,

I was laying down on my bed last night, watching TV and hoping to fall into sleep as usual. I was attracted by a show calls "Sweet 16" on MTV channel. It was a story on a daughter of a very rich capitalist's family in the US of America. She was going to turn 16 and the whole family (her father and mother) and her friends were helping her to have the most wonderful birthday party. With her friends, she brought her 2 puppies to an expensive shop to make up them, dye their hair and buy them the lovely bows. And then she had her hair styled at another shop. She drove to a shopping place and bought lot of expensive clothes and stuffs. Her parents picked her out to a huge car store of BMW and buy her a new car as their birthday present for their beloved daughter. She pointed a red and expensive car but her father said no, so she had to make a second choice with a black one which is a bit cheaper. She asked her mother to have a music band come to her birthday party to sing and then, her mother said "no, I'm sorry". But finally, I found out all of those just to make her supprised at her party... And it's time; her parents organized the party for her at a big club; there were securities, all the guests who want to get in the club had to have their tickets and were checked the stuffs by the shaven head, black security guys... Absolutely like a music show of a famous band was happening. She appeared as a princess at the middle of the crowd; everyone was screaming and clapping their hands... The band that she had asked her mother before the party suddenly appeared, sang a sweet song and said happy birthday to her. All the gals there were screaming and saying "I love you; I love you" to the singer guy. I could guess he is a famous singer over there... And when her father and mother showed their present to their daughter, the black BMW car and at the same time, behind her, another BMW was coming slowly nearer and nearer to her; and that is the red one she loves and wanted to have. She was so surprised, thunderstruck and happy. Some of the girls there were thunderstruck "Oh my gosh! she gets two cars, TWO CARS"... It seemed like friends and everyone were praising for that showing off of her family.

I was talking myself "what a ridiculous story to show?"; a birthday costs hundred thousands dollars, huh !?!?!. When people are too rich, they will think of the crazy things to upstage. A 16 years old kid has 2 cars, wears expensive clothes, owns many valuable stuffs, spend his or her parents' money easily like throwing a paper,... for what? Those things are just killing the kids. Can they be alive without the money of their parents one day? Can they "stand" and "walk" on their own "feet" in their life? I don't think so; when they are happy with money and everything from their parents, they don't care about study, they can't do anything because they think they already had everything... Vietnamese people have an idiom which means: spare the rod and spoil the child...

One of other things is that when that wrong way was showed on the TV, many people would watch it and certainly people will copy and ape those expensive tastes, especially the young. The society will have a young generation just know to enjoy life with their parents' budget but don't know how to work. Very dangerous!

The girl in the TV show, she was screaming "This is the best birthday I have ever had" and me, I was smiling wryly "This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen"...

My name is MR.YINKA FOLAWIYO. I work with one of the Banks here in Nigeria as an Account-Officer. I made up my mind with trust to contact you for an urgent and very confidential business, which will benefit both of us. I therefore made further investigation and discovered that he did not declare any Next of Kin or relation in all his official documents in his file, including his Bank Deposit in my Bank. Right now, the money is yet to be claimed by his Next of Kin and it is now obvious that there is no one to come forward to claim this money from the bank.

According to Nigerian Law, at the expiration of 5 (five) years from the date of the said Deposit, the money will be Confiscated by the Nigerian Government as unclaimed Bill. Hence, I have been unable to locate his Next of Kin for over 2 years; I seek your consent to present your Name to my Bank as the NEXT OF KIN of the deceased. For us to claim this money in your Name will not pose any problem/s for us because a lawyer will handle everything for us.

To do this, I will hire the services of a Lawyer who will prepare the necessary documents and Affidavits from the Federal High Court here in Nigeria. That is an email that I just received this morning and it sounds pretty serious to me at the first time reading it. But I recognized it might be a foolish mail after talking to my sister and she showed me that one of her colleague received the same email when she was still in Vietnam and he forwarded it to other ones in the company for a fun. So, ... too good to be true
